Many travelers believe that the western part of Canada is the most beautiful place in the world, and after traveling this itinerary, you will be in prime position to decide for yourself. Starting and ending in vibrant Vancouver city, this route takes you through many gorgeous destinations where nature is the scene-stealer. Be ready to camp, hike, raft, and drift along as you explore the bounty of British Columbia. This itinerary is for people who want to slow down and enjoy the simple energy of the outdoors.
Highlights
Climb on Capilano Suspension Bridge just outside of Vancouver, and then hit the town for dinner and dancing before heading out into the wilderness. Hit the slopes or go for a hike in Whistler and soak in the scenery in Kamloops from a lakeside hot tub. Kayak on Shuswap Lake and go rock climbing in Nelson. Try to get wet in Okanagan Falls and enjoy the beaches of Kelowna, the sunshine city. Slow down and smell the wilderness.

Ending Point: Vancouver
Time Frame: 10-14 Days
Plan to spend a few days in Vancouver either on the beginning of end of your trip. From Vancouver head north on Highway 99 to Whistler and on up to Kamloops, continuing on the Trans Canada Highway by Shuswap Lake and on to Revelstoke. From there head south through Nakusp to Nelson, exploring Kootenay Lake. From there head back west, traveling through Penticton and Kelowna before finally arriving back in Vancouver.
