Save Money When Traveling in a Group
Lindsey Wooldridge
If you're heading off to Europe, Australia, the US (or anywhere for that matter) with a few friends this year, make sure you take advantage of the opportunities to save your bucks, euros and pounds for those nights you want to splurge on a fancy dinner or you fail to convince the bouncer to let you in for free to that hot new London underground club.
Here are just a few ways to save:
Airport Transfers
Before you hop on a shuttle bus from the airport, find out how much a taxi costs. Often, you will find that with 3 or more travelers, the taxi turns out cheaper or just the same but with more convenience.
Rail Passes
If you choose to travel by rail, then a Saver Pass is just the ticket. It is shared by 2-5 people traveling together (at all times) and is available on a range of Eurail Passes.
