Campervan Pricing
Rental rates are calculated per night (similar to a hotel stay: “check-in” (pick –up) is in the early afternoon and “checkout” (return) is in the morning) and based on the time of year.
The daily rate includes unlimited miles and statutory liability cover as required by law (also known as basic liability) but excludes bedding/cooking gear, optional extras and optional insurance.
Taxes
Sales tax is charged on all rental items based on pickup location and is subject to change. Los Angeles 10.5%, Las Vegas 8.375%, San Francisco 9.75%.
Minimum Rental Period
5 nights except in July and August, 7 nights. One way rentals are minimum 7 nights all year.
Kitchen/Sleeping Gear
The Kuga campervan does not include these items. You can rent a kitchen/bedding kit for 3 for $45 which includes sleeping bags, pillows/sheets, towels, cutlery, crockery, cooking utensils, coffee/tea/sugar, cleaning equipment and chairs.
One Way Fees
One way drop off fee is $150.

Campervan and Liability Insurance Options
There are two types of insurance for your rental, campervan cover and supplemental liability as follows:
Collision Damage Waiver
Covers damage to the campervan itself. Collision Damage Waiver (CDW) Insurance which costs $10/day and reduces the excess/deductible from full responsibility to zero.
Liability Insurance
Protects you against 3rd party claims if you injure a person or damage someone else’s property. Basic Statutory limits for liability and property damage are included in your campervan daily rate. If your travel insurance does not include liability cover you can purchase Supplementary liability Insurance (SLI) for an additional $13.99/day. This covers third party property and public liability to US$500,000.
